Almería is the home to amazing people, food, and culture. The local people are very friendly and the food, the drinks and the views are spectacular! The challenge is that many places are not designed with English speaking tourist in mind... and trust me some things just don't translate!
Let me introduce you to Almería...and then you can continue your explorations on your own...newly armed with information and tools to better navigate this wonderful city. I can't wait to meet you!
Fun side note is that for each tour booked we donate 5 euros to Paws-Patas local animal shelter helping abandoned animals.
Tour Details:
The TAPAS AND CITY TOUR is a 4-5 hour walking tour. We eat, drink and walk our way through the historic neighborhood of Almería. We will enjoy a tour of the central market, eat at some of our favorite family owned tapas bars and we will sprinkle in bits of historical information along the way. We also make quick stops to interesting sites and we point out great places to see on another day or maybe even later that afternoon.
Food and drinks included - preset menu.
If you have special food needs, please state at booking so that we can accommodate.
The TAPAS TOUR is the eating portion of the full tour.
City & Food Tour
Are you ready for a fun day exploring, eating, and drinking your way through downtown Almería? Join me, Cathy Allen, on a lovely day where I take you to many of my favorite places while sharing fun and interesting stories and legends along the way.
I help Almería be just a bit more manageable for those non-Spanish speakers. Almería is a lovely city, it is just not quite as accessible for non-Spanish speakers and that is what makes it great, authentic and fun! Get a taste of the real Spain and not just what most of the tourists see.
If you have any food allergies or restrictions, please let me know upon booking so we can do our best to accomodate you!
Tapas Tour
If food is your main focus, then you've come to the right place. I will take you to my favorite tapas bars to enjoy great food, drinks and the culture of "tapeando" or tapa-ing. You will enjoy a wide variety of flavors of authentic and local recipes and ingredients which are a representation of the history and culture of Almería. Don't worry, if you have any food allergies, restrictions, or strong aversions just let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
