Here is a glimpse of what we offer.
Sample Itinerary
Day 0 = Arrival Day: You will be picked up from the airport or train station to be whisked to Vera Playa a beautiful beachside village where you can take a deep breath and completely let go in our beautiful chalet.
Day 1 = The soul of the Mediterranean: Today is all about olive oil and wine, with a tasting of both paired with incredible food.
Day 2 = Outdoor Markets and Secret Coves Today we will explore the adorable local market in the seaside village of Villaricos. After a typical Spanish breakfast, and our fill of shopping, we will head out and explore the little known coves in the area for a snorkel and some beach combing. In the evening, we will enjoy an incredible outdoor soundbath.
Day 3 = White Painted Villages & Abanicos : Today, we will explore the beautiful, white-painted village of Mojacár, eat fabulous foods, learn the art of flamenco....
Day 4 = Sparkling Views: We will check-out of our chalet and begin our journey to the special sea-side village of San José. On the way we will stop for a gorgeous hike that will amaze you, visit a special artisan village that specializes in ceramics and enjoy a fantastic Spanish Fusion gourmet lunch.
Day 5 = Morning on the Mediterranean: We will start the morning on and in the Mediterranean Sea. We will enjoy incredible local seafood and there will be plenty of time for shopping or relaxing during your free time today. And anyone up for it, we can take an evening hike along the coast.
Day 6 = Almería city and tapas tour We will check out of our hotel in San José and head to the quaint city of Almería. We will take a tour to get oriented with the city and enjoy local tapas. You will then enjoy an afternoon of free time for shopping or exploring and we will enjoy a night of Flamenco.
Day 7 = Beaches, Shopping Exploring and the Spa: it's your choice! Today, you can choose from an array of options. You can go off to explore on your own, go shopping, or to the beach or join me to visit the Alcazaba and the el Cable Ingles or a combination of the above. Just don't forget that Spa Time is at 4pm. Lunch and dinner will both be included today and at incredible locations chosen for their unique gastronomy and locations.
Day 8 = Departure: Breakfast is included today and we will get you back to the train station or hotel as long as you are leaving from the designated locations and within the designated times. Or we can assist in finding alternative solutions for more travel etc...

In my previous life, I was an IBMer who graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Finance. Although I was born and raised in Alaska, I couldn't wait to get to away from the cold and into the sun.
While living in Arizona, I developed my love for travel, going with friends to different parts of Mexico, traveling with a friend to celebrate the holidays in Jakarta and Bali Indonesia. I loved discovering the customs, the food, the people of new places.
IBM attracted me to work for them because of the opportunities to live and work abroad and I was able to do just that. I had the amazing opportunity to live in Malaysia and I took full advantage of living in the heart of SE Asia and traveled to all through Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bali, Taiwan and China. In addition, I traveled to Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, India and Spain for different assignments and I always took the opportunity to stay and explore.
Now. I am living a quieter life in southern Spain and loving it! I am excited to meet you and show you around my lovely second home, Almería! I will also be organizing trips to SE Asia in 2026. As I mentioned, I love experiencing a country to the fullest.
Exploring the food, the drinks, the culture, THE PEOPLE and taking in the beauty of a place, whether that is a city with cute cafés, a hidden cover or a beautiful hike into the mountains.
